CORON, PALAWAN

2️⃣8️⃣

I celebrated my 28th birthday in this beautiful paradise.

I can’t really find the right words to describe Coron.

It was beautiful.

Enchanting.

Magical.

Palawan on my birthday was the “BEST” birthday I’ve ever had! For me, this is the Top 1 island in the Philippines. (The whole Philippines is so beautiful! Anywhere here is #FTW!)
From the prestine white sand beaches, most diverse coral reefs to sumptuous sea-foods… 👌🏻 Coron is the place to be!

Island Tours

Malcapuya Island

Banana Island

Bulog Dos

Coron Island Hopping

What I love most about the trip is the free lunch!

TIPS💡

  • Get a hotel near the Coron Municipal Hall, Real Street (it’s walking distance to the banks, restos, church, stores etc… almost everything) <Coron Ecolodge, Casa Coron, Tree Top, Jazmine’s Place, Coron Bed and Breakfast>
  • If you got a hotel in Real Street, no need for tricycle…. just walk. (Save money! Yay!)
  • Honestly, our expenses would have been smaller if we checked-in in a cheaper hotel. Walk around town there are a lot of cheaper tour packages as well
  • Coron Harvest (cashew nuts store) is just beside Santino’s Grill so buy the night you have dinner so you can save tricycle fee
  • Bring insect repellent lotion while going on island tours especially in Kayangan Lake
  • Bring goggles so don’t have to rent
  • If you are going solo, make friends so you can share food… it’s much cheaper on groups
  • Go to Mt. Tapyas in the afternoon to watch sunset. (I went in the morning huhuhu!) They told me the sky is pink on the afternoon….
  • The food is great 👌🏻 You’ll never go wrong. I suggest Lobster King, Santino’s and Winnie’s.
  • If you want to bring home seafood pasalubong, bring your own storage. It’s expensive in the public market.
  • Talk to the locals, they are very friendly. I love the boatmans! They are like tour guides as well.
  • Go pro is an advantage. (I wish i have one) In twin Lagoon, you have to swim to get to the next lagoon so I couldn’t bring my iphone with me 😔
  • I wish I have Sandugo sandals. (There are clamps in most beaches. So be careful to put down you feet 😱😜)
